On November 6th, the American public will vote in the mid-term elections, and define the second half of the controversial Trump presidency. This includes the Administration’s foreign policy and a strong focus on China, which has become one of the hottest topics in the US media and think-tank community. On the eve of these crucial elections, AmCham will host Philippe Le Corre, a leading China expert at Harvard’s Kennedy School, to discuss the current state of US-China relations and how it impacts America’s role in the world. Le Corre, author of numerous books and reports on China’s geoeconomic rise, will also address the issue of Chinese foreign investments and the impact on Europe of the ongoing US-China “trade war”.
A sandwich lunch will be served.
This event is reserved for Patron and President Council members.
