Jérémie Gallon joined AmCham France as Managing Director in September 2017. He previously worked in Washington DC where he held the position of senior political advisor to the Ambassador of the European Union to the United States. In this role he covered a broad set of topics including UN affairs, multilateral and global governance matters, EU-US cooperation on the migration crisis, and international human rights. Prior to joining the European External Action Service, he worked for Davis Polk Wardwell as attorney where he developed the mergers and acquisitions as well as litigation practices. In this position, he worked on numerous transactions in the Defense and Energy sectors, in particular as legal counsel to the French State. Jérémie also worked for the World Bank in Serbia. On a personal note, Jérémie has also been engaged as a nonresident Senior Fellow in the ‘Future Europe Initiative’ at the Atlantic Council since 2016. He specialized in France, the European Union and transatlantic affairs. During his time at Harvard University, he also worked as research assistant to the former EU Trade Commissioner, Mr. Karel de Gucht, at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Jérémie graduated from Harvard Law School (LLM), University Paris I Pantheon-La Sorbonne (JD), and earned his MA from HEC Paris. He is also a former student of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in Beijing, China. He is a member of the Paris Bar.
